Day in the life - 28 Oct 2019
Kenzie did the presentation at UBC on Thursday and said it went really well. Shockingly they chose the design problem (rather than the business or marketing problem) and, with Kenzie’s guidance, came out understanding that stigma was the real problem. Nice.
Spoke with Lizzy, her document summarizing her customer discovery process and progress is great, will share it with the team. Open question about funding etc for her work going forward but I’m assuming this is all part of the course project so far and doesn’t require any substantive support (from us or ‘with’ us) until it starts to gain real legs.
Also spoke with Greg McNeil at Cover2Resources – see notes – and will follow up on a few things through him, including future publicity once we’re trying to attract attention in his neck of the woods. He’s also met everyone over the years and is happy to make intro’s. It had me thinking, again, that the likely road to success for Responder is for any other tool that offers that kind of network to be able to plug in to our system in order to trigger alerts on their side of things. (So: Naloxofind, CFR generally, Beacon, PulsePoint, UnityPhilly etc)
Alderbridge was interesting, notes are in Slack and consolidated in this google doc from Kenzie.
Action points from last week:
- connect with VANDU about ODetect
- update the Team page on website
- change wording on website around pricing for Buttons [done]
- invite team to Vikki’s evening event (confirm with Vikki first) [done & done]
