My core goal this 12 weeks is sales. To that end I'm reading stuff, taking some online courses (4), building out a pipeline and process, re-connecting with every lead from the past two years, and (next week) cold calling potential leads...
I recognise this feeling I'm feeling though - I'm excited, amazed at how much rapid progress can be made when you focus on something... in recognising that I've been here before I'm trying to tone down my optimism and ramp up my focus and learning; otherwise I'll get over-excited by the potential and burn out when prospects don't turn into customers (it's the one thing I know of that emotionally knocks me out).
(There are names for this of course: uninformed optimism, then informed pessimism, then the valley of despair, then informed optimism, or something like that...)
