Work-late Wednesday - 23 Oct 2019

Wednesday is work-late day, most weeks. Which usually means email catch up, or other admin-type things in the evening. However, I managed to plow my way through about 150 emails over the weekend and Monday so... just a few stragglers that require more attention and time. Unlikely to focus on those today.

Here’s a fun set of websites, potential allies, groups in the same space etc (not comprehensive but these are the tools I’m looking at these days): websitesarrow-up-right

Spoke with the team behind Naloxofindarrow-up-right again today, they’re still at the same place they were after they launched in Summit Co. in Ohio over the summer. Connecting me with Greg McNeil at Cover2arrow-up-right and Community of First Respondersarrow-up-right (update: we’re chatting tomorrow).

Met with Shaugn at CIRES to go over lease terms and confirm we’re ad idem on most of it: offer to lease will come our way on Monday, probably.

Bit of a cock up on my part with the UBC Social Impact Innovation Jam... it was supposed to be tomorrow and I just totally lost track of it until they called me earlier today and sent an email. (Somehow I missed their last email as I was cleaning stuff up...) Anyway, Kenzie is taking it on and will be there (Robson Square) tomorrow to present ourselves and some problems for a team of mostly business students to have a crack at.

In other news I’m managing to get my daily reading in (Brave New Workarrow-up-right) which feels good. Also got confirmation from Mary Childs that a purchase agreement between me and Brave is a logical and clear cut way to ascribe investment shares to me as compensation for my contribution. I’ve drafted up some heads of agreement and want to run that by a couple of people and then bring it to the coop. Did a quick cleanup on the budget doc and I think it’s time to transcribe that into the runway tool, or perhaps Mario would like to do that as a way of going through the numbers?
